Amazing Vacation |

We stayed with Hotel Tybee for a week this summer. Check in was a breeze and the front desk was very helpful. We were on the first floor and found the hotel to be a great value! We were traveling as a family of three with a son who is 7. We were close to the beach, the pool, and all the shops. Hotel Tybee is on the public beach, which was perfect for our family. (I love that there were lifeguards on the beach) The room has a fairly good size refrigerator and a microwave. We went to the local grocery store and bought a half gallon of milk, lunch meat and yogurts to have for the week to avoid eating out for every meal. The beds were comfortable, and although we opted for a room with out a view, (we looked out into the hotel parking lot), we never found it to be too noisy, or distracting. You do have to cross the public parking lot to get to the beach, but that was NO big deal. From our room to the ocean it was a three minute walk. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, safe, and very well located. I highly recommend this hotel for a family traveling to Tybee. We will be back.

Our Stay at Hotel Tybee |

We checked in to the hotel on May 19,2016 we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Our room number was 430 it was very clean and spacious and also overlooked the ocean. Everyone was so nice. After checking in our room we went down to the Tiki Bar, that's where we met Alex. He treated us like long lost friends. We asked of a good place to eat and places to go.Every place they recommended was great. The second day we stopped at the Tiki Bar again after returning from our tour of Savannah and Alyssa was our bartender and she was so cheerful and helpful and very jovial. We talked for a long time with her. I had told her earlier that day that I needed to get a hold of someone for more coffee in our room. Unknown to use she called her mother Lauri and she brought us some coffee up to our room, for us to have in the morning. We had dinner in the restaurant there at the hotel which Alyssa,Alex and Dan told us was really good. Wrong it was AMAZING. We met 4 of the most amazing people and Yes we will definitely be back there. I feel like we made 4 new friends.
