The Tybee Post Theater is going to be transformed into a House of Blues with two headliners on one stage for three hours of high-octane boogie woogie on what's going to be a funky Friday night!
The Eric Culberson Band is Savannah's most popular blues band, a high-energy trio with over a million miles on the road. Their material consists of many different styles of Blues music, from "gut-bucket" Delta Blues to Urban Funk Blues to Texas Swing to Chicago Blues, so everyone in the audience gets the best of many worlds. The ECB also have dozens of original compositions that have appealed to the music lovers looking not only for traditional Blues music, but fresh new energy and material as well.
Willie Jackson is a native son of Savannah with a passion for writing blues songs, playing bass and singing with his Tybee Blues Band at venues across the Coastal Empire. Willie's original music is in the South Georgia tradition of soul stirring blues with clever lyrics. His debut EP featured original songs that carry the heart of traditional blues into musings on contemporary everyday life. Willie enjoys performing live every bit as much as the audiences enjoy his jocular conversation between songs and his on-the-spot improvisational song writing.
