Celebrate July 4th with Beachfront Tybee Island Fireworks
Beaches and Independence Day go together like summer and sun. Making sure you enjoy the best holiday Savannah has to offer, Tybee Island Fourth of July festivities take place on July 3rd. The famously impressive seaside fireworks show starts around "dark-thirty" (9:15pm), but be sure to stake a claim on beach real estate earlier in the day, as the sand fills up fast. While they launch from the Fishing Pier & Pavilion, the shimmering display is best viewed from the relaxed comfort of the island's eastern beaches.
Enjoy Your Favorite Drinks on the Beach
Pitch an umbrella, bring some lawn chairs, and make a day out of it! Frolic in the water, then barbecue some token summer snacks. You can even bring your favorite alcoholic drinks, as long as they're not in glass containers.
About the Fishing Pier & Pavilion
The evening's fireworks will be launched from this iconic Tybee sight, with over 120 years of history. On any given day, you might catch a local band serenading fishermen, dolphins playing, and anglers reeling in trophy catches.
